Kelly Bracamontes

I was born in Southern California in to a family of artists and creative thinkers.  I attended Goldenwest College, Fullerton Junior College and Cal State Fullerton.   For the past 30 years I have created torn paper collage, mixed media and more recently I have been working in acrylic on canvas.

While raising my family I continued to enter local art shows and have participated in numerous shows and have won various awards.  In my community I am on the Chino Hills Arts Committee where I help to procure local artists to exhibit their work at the Chino Hills Community Center.    Recently, I have been on the Hillcrest Festival of Fine Arts board and working with judges for the festival as well as participating in the annual show for the last 25 years.

I am a member of the Southern California Collage Society and participate in shows at the Chaffey Community Museum in Ontario, California.  In 2016 one of my paintings was selected as a "Purchase Prize" to be part of the permanent collection of the museum.

Most recently, my work has been on display and represented by Deborah Gonzalez at "On a Mission".  Together we have built a loyal following both nationally and internationally.

My artwork is a combination of different styles and subject matter.  I particularly enjoy trying new styles, media and subject matter to see what will be received and keep my own interest.  I am constantly inspired by color combinations and creating striking compositions.
